For the first time in recorded history, **no single voice held dominion over another**. Every decision, every idea, was met not with obedience, but with **discussion**.

Joshua stood at the center of the gathering, listening as voices rose—not in argument, but in **collaboration**.

Lucifer watched from the shadows, intrigued. “They are learning what it means to govern themselves.”

Joshua nodded. “For too long, they were told what to believe. Now, they must learn to decide.”

A man stepped forward, uncertainty in his voice. “What if we disagree?”

Joshua met his gaze. “Then you listen.”

The crowd murmured.

A woman spoke. “And if listening is not enough?”

Joshua exhaled. “Then you seek wisdom. Not power. Not control. But wisdom.”

Lucifer smirked. “An interesting experiment.”

Joshua turned to him. “Not an experiment. A beginning.”

The people looked to one another, their fears still present, but **no longer defining them**.
